Hahahaha this is great!
While our toddler pulled on my leg this morning , she repeated ” MOM I NEED YOU!” over and over, as I was trying to make freaking MUFFINS for everyone. Heaven forbid I do anything without her on my hip. Don’t get me wrong, I love her. But I soon began singing this little tune.
It lovingly comes from the Matt Maher song, ” LORD I NEED YOU.”
So, with that I wrote a Toddler’s version of Lord I need you.
“Mom, I come, I confess
pulling on your leg, here I find my rest
Without You I fall apart
You’re the One that gives me the baths.
“Mom, I need You, oh, I need You
Every hour I need You
My Goldfish mess, my tantrum audience
Oh Mom, how I need You
Where poop runs deep Your wipes are more
Where chaos is found is where You are
